Granum and Stroma

There are two parts in the chloroplasts for photosynthesis to occur one part is the Granum. The granum are stacks of thylakoids which contain the chlorophyll, light-absorbing molecules, and proteins. The stroma is a type of fluid that surrounds the granum. This is the other part of the chloroplasts.
